Venice Lagoon
Why Sail the Venice Lagoon?
Sailing the Venice Lagoon offers a unique and scenic way to experience all that the Venice region has to offer. Larger cruise ships are now banned from docking in Venice itself, using their "Venice" stop over an hour away! Uniworld's river cruise ships are small enough to dock right in town, getting you just steps from all of the sights and sounds Venice offers. There is so much to love - winding alleyways, grand architecture, rich history, and a sparkling lagoon dotted with charming islands.
Sailing the Venice Lagoon typically starts and ends in Venice, though add-ons pre- and post-cruise allow for additional exploration anywhere across Italy, such as Rome or Milan.
